FABULOUS
Reading some of the 1 * reviews I’m not sure I watched the same play. I go to the theatre a lot with work and always get distracted or zone out. This was amazing from cast to set to direction to sound. It was relatable believable and didn’t feel like I was watching. Play. The cynics of Lily Allen jumping from pop star to actor are unfounded she was excellent as were all the cast. I think this is way better than WIB well done cast and crew

GRIPPING!
I absolutely loved this play. Having read some of the earlier 1 star reviews I wonder if the show just really improved as the weeks went on because this was one of the best shows I've seen! The acting and script between the 4 characters is gripping, with the audience hanging on every word. There was a standing ovation at the end and it was clear the whole theatre was as enraptured as me! The horror story was jumpy enough to keep the tension high, but it was the character interactions, silences, subtle exchanges, that really stole it for me. Jake Wood brought lovely moments of humour beautifully softening the tension of other elements. As the lights came on, I turned to my guest and exclaimed: I want to come back tomorrow night! Highly recommended.

A brilliant play. Great acting, funny, emotional & a few little jumpy moments. Ending was superb.

GREAT!
We saw this on New Years Day and throughly enjoyed it. I was the only one in the stalls who gave a standing ovation lol! But it deserved it so I wasn’t too embarrassed! Great script delivered brilliantly, it’s funny, gritty and spooky. Great cast and a fab twist at the end too.

BRILLIANT!
I went with high expectations and was not disappointed. The story had heart, the plot was clever and it was laugh out loud funny which was a genuine surprise. My husband and I loved it.

IGNORE THE SELF ACCLAIMED CRITICS
Happened to be in London and happened to stumble across this play. I knew nothing about it but as one my favourites is the woman in black I was prepared for it to be jumpy. It was! The audiences reaction got on my nerves a little bit to start off with but reading the reviews I’d prefer to be with people that just went with the flow of the production rather than being sat next to a critic! I think if you feel all over goose bumps when relaying the story, then, as a whole I’d say it was a sign of an enjoyable show. The acting was great and I really engaged with the characters.
