Why See The Great Gatsby?
come and join the party
The Guild of Misrule and The Immersive Ensemble invite you into the world of elusive millionaire Jay Gatsby in this captivating new theatrical experience that retells F. Scott Fitzgerald's magnificent 20th Century masterpiece, putting you at the centre of one of Gatsby's infamous swinging parties. A truly fashionable occasion, expect the bootlegged liquor to flow free as the hot jazz as you journey through one of literatures most venerated tales. 1920s dress encouraged, dancing shoes required!
Noted for its gilded description of roaring twenties excess, The Great Gatsby follows the fortunes of writer Nick Carraway who's life is changed forever when he goes to stay with his cousin Daisy Buchanan in the exclusive West Egg neighbourhood. The locals are up in arms about fabulously rich new resident Jay Gatsby, who appears to have it all. But are things exactly as they seem, or is this strange gentleman hiding a darker side?
