As part of the Theatre Royal Plymouth's season, Mikhail Durnenkov's The War Has Not Yet Started comes to London for a special season of performances at the Southwark Playhouse. Based on everyday people battling everyday wars, this dark, funny and eye-opening play twists and blends 12 modern-day parables that manage to tap into the fears and strangeness of our every day lives.
A revered playwright, stage, screen and television talent in Moscow, Mikhail Durnenkov's works offer and insight into the workings of Russian life. His previous work The Drunks, co-written with his brother, was produced by the RSC in 2009.
Starring Hannah Britland, Sarah Hadland and Mark Quartley all star in this intricate and gritty play which is sure to define the 2018/2019 season.
