FAB-U-LOUS

Opening Night was fabulous. Hairspray is a fantastic show & the current cast were amazing. The Night was full of fun, laughter, brilliant singing & choreography. The cast gave their all last night & an audience of a 1000 responded & made it feel like a full house. I'm not going to say anymore as I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't yest been. I will say you will not be disappointed & we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hairspray

OUTSTANDING

Please, please, please go back to the theatre and be a part of Hairspray. You will not be disappointed. Michael Ball was born to be Edna and Les Dennis was great as 'her' husband. Lizzie Bea (Tracy) is a brilliant new star. The soundtrack is wonderful and the whole show is so uplifting. The ovation at the end went on and on, the whole audience were on their feet singing, dancing and clapping along. It was wonderful to be back in the magical land of theatre. The cast looked as though they were having a brilliant time and threw themselves into their parts wholeheartedly. They were obviously as pleased to get back doing what they do best as the audience were to see them. It was a packed house, which was incredible to see after all this time. Well done to all and thank you for performing.

NATALIE WOODS AS TRACY!!

I was lucky enough to get tickets last week for the performance with the understudy as Tracy Turnblad. Boy! Can that girl sing and dance!! What stamina. Thoroughly enjoyable night! My husband loved it even though he growled about going.

FANTASTIC!

An excellent show. All the cast are equally outstanding. The standard of acting and singing is incredible and the fun chemistry between Michael Ball and Les Dennis is hysterical. Our night was on Friday 13th August. There was a slight delay during the performance due to technical difficulties which only added to the fun atmosphere in the Coliseum. Tracy Turnblad was played by the hugely talented Natalie Woods

UPLIFTING AND EMOTIONAL

It was great to be back in the theatre and so uplifting and emotional- great cast and production. I would echo the lack of covid measures in the theatre - audience at capacity and hardly anyone wearing masks during the performance

FABULOUS FANTASTIC UPLIFTING FUN FUN FUN

From start to finish just fabulous although Micheal ball wasn’t in it the night we went the understudy was just brilliant it became quite emotional for me at the end as it was plain to see all of the cast were so pleased to back they gave it their all and the audience paid them in return with rapturous applause beyond brilliant well done guys

BRILLIANT SHOW BUT POOR COVID CONTROL

I really enjoyed the show, but i was very wary and nervous about the lack of covid controls. The theatre was at full capacity and the staff did no checks on the way in. People were not wearing masks. Had they advertised a full capacity theatre, I would not have bought tickets
