Why See Beyond Bollywood?

BOLLYWOOD TO LIGHT UP THE PALLADIUM

Direct from Mumbai comes a true Indian dance extravaganza, taking up residence at the London Palladium after CATS closes its doors. Written, choreographed and directed by Rajeev Goswami, with lyrics by Irfan Siddiqui and an original score by Salim-Sulaiman, the very best of Bollywood's creative talent sees audiences undergo a cultural journey around India, through the myriads of dance that can be found throughout its regions that include ihu, Garba, Kathak, Lezim and Kalbelia.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The story behind this dance spectacle centres on Shaily Shergill, who leaves behind her home in Germany to journey to India in the hope of fulfilling her mother's dying wish, to revive her family's failing theatre. There, she rekindles her roots within her spiritual home and sets about the seemingly insurmountable task ahead of her.
