God almost always opens two ways which lead thither, the ways of sorrow and of love
Join Nimbus Theatre Company for a brand new staging of Alexandre Dumas fils' ravishing tale, adapted by Cloud Downey and Jo Dalton. Presented at the Waterloo East Theatre this march, allow yourself to be swept up in an exquisite yet bittersweet love story. Beginning in the decadent Parisian salons of the 1850s, we're introduced to the most sought-after courtesan of the age, Marguerite Gautier. Beautiful and spoiled by her suitors, it is not until she meets the provincial Armand Duval that her heart is finally uncaged, leading to a romance for the ages.
Presented in period costume, fans of Moulin Rouge! La Traviata and more will be delighted by this new production of the literary classic.
