Man and Superman Reviews
Midlife Crisis from Cotswolds,
FEELS LIKE A 4 HOUR MONOLOGUE
Saw this at cinema on live broadcast. Of historical interest , would no doubt have been a breakthrough play t at the time in 1903. Nowadays it seems very wordy, fineness shows a great feat of memory in learning up his huge role. Shaw 's female characters are written in quite a mysogynnistic way. I fell asleep in the heaven a hell scene which dragged on with some initial interesting points. Went to cinema straight from work and now have to go to sleep ready for work in the morning, frankly I wish I had not have bothered going to watch this.
