GO SEE........

Quite simply, it's the best laugh-out-loud comedy since Noises Off. Yes, it's a bit of a panto - but brilliantly staged and performed by *all* the cast. Go see.

BRILLIANT

Went to see this on 15th Sept NTL, haven't laughed so much for ages. James Corden worked so hard, the entire cast were brilliant. Well worth seeing again.

GRIPPING COMEDY

saw One Man at Aylesbury Waterside last night - OMG what a great show; all the cast, not just JC (as he should be called) were stars; individually and collectively the best comedy I have seen. ad-libs, asides, musical inserts and participation too - would recommend to anyone. Felt privileged to be there and wanted to stand up and applaud!!

WOW!

I went to the show on Saturday with my wife and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend to anyone and James Cordon was brilliant, but so were the other performers too.

BEST THING I HAVE SEEN IN AGES

I went to see this last night and I am still laughing now! James Corden is even better than the reviews say (as is the rest of the brilliant cast for that matter). Genuinely one of the best things I have seen on stage for a long, long time. Worth every penny.

JAWS OF DAGENHAM

I saw the show on 20/01, what a show! I have never laughed so much at the theatre, James Cordon or JC was excellent, his adlibs were first class, and his rapour with the people from the audience was brillent, of course one man does not make the show, the rest of the cast were supurb, If I could get tickets I would definitly go again.

A MUST SEE

Just been to see the show and it was brilliant, the cast were fantastic and was crying with laughter the whole way through. If you go to see anything this year this is the one to see!!U

SUCH A GOOD NIGHT!

I saw this last night. The first half was hilarious, good fun! supreme acting and well timed and executed verbal and physical comedy throughout. The whole audience was laughing and there was a really good vibe the whole way through. don't miss this!

LET'S BE HONEST... IT'S NOT THAT FUNNY.

This show has lost something in translation. All the ad libs and improvised business that were probably there and extremely funny in the original version have now become too rehearsed. As a result it has gone stale - there's only so much rehearsed corpsing you can take in one evening... and if you're going to use planted actors in the audience for some potentially hilarious moments for God sake don't blow it by giving the game away... don't put that actor in the curtain calls, for example. Hmmm.....

WAS I MISSING SOMETHING??

Saw this on Saturday night (2/3/13) and must say, I just don't get it. Audience were laughing whilst nothing was happening...please!! End of the first half was mildly amusing, but nothing that Laurel and Hardy hadn't done 70 years ago. The cast were excellent, and the best bits of the show were the adlibs. Only realised the relevance of the skiffle band after reading about the show. Boring, old fashioned, stale dodgy story and seriously unfunny. If it were a TV show, would have turned over after 10 minutes. Sound was terrible, and second half was atrocious!! Can't believe all the reviews, maybe because James Cordon was in it at the start, it was living on his hype, this is not to say Rufus Hound (who I think is hilarious is bad) but really really did not get it. Can't understand it getting almost 5 stars, I must be the odd one out. I would say this is one for the older generation, who still like old fashioned "comedy!!" Complete waste of £500 for the weekend....DON'T GO, rent a movie!!
