CRAZY FOR YOU

Despite a couple of rain showers during the performance this show was absolutely brilliant. After enjoying the matinee today I was tempted to buy another ticket for the evening performance. Thoroughly uplifting!

TOTALLY SUPREME

Despite the intermitent clouds and threat of rain, the show produced some fabulous numbers, some excellent harmonious singing and some extremely funny scenes. This has to be the best dancing I have ever seen in London. Altogether a total package from the cast and creatives. I gave it 5 stars but my previous review did not publish it as written!

FALSE REVIEWS

I actually did enjoy this show when I genuinely went to see it this summer at Regents Park. However, I don't think it helps a show to have someone clearly writing multiple reviews unders false identities in praise of it. Get a new p.r.company, guys.

PAUL - LONDON

Having seen the show in Regent's Park, I was itching to see it again; if you need a tonic, witness great performances, hear some memorably sung 'classics' get yourself to The Novello Theatre - this show is pure GOLD! Sean and Clare are obviously having the time of their lives - it shows in both their excpetional performances! My only negative here [and Crazy for You! not on its own], why do the orchestrations have to be so loud a times - thankfully, half way through the first act this rectified! Let the singers be heard, especially when all cast members on this production are, on such fine form!

FANTASTIC

Saw this at the Novello and it was absolutely brilliant, cast brilliant, beautiful singing, left feeling up lifted, with a tear in my eye - would recommend to anyone!! X

BRILLIANTLY ENTERTAINING

This is a wonderful production with the most beautiful long legged girls with beautiful costumes. Worth every penny.

BEST WE HAVE SEEN!

Having travelled from Australia, and hitting London for our final week of our holiday just to see shows, this was hands down the best show that we saw all week. I cannot believe the talent, the energy and the utter joy that this show and brilliant cast gave us. Visually stunning and worth every penny. We want it to tour Australia so that we can see it again, and again, and again. Thank you.

PHENOMENAL CHOREOGRAPHY AND TIMING

Having been in the arts industry for over 15 years, I have seen many a show in the west end, aswell as training professionally. This show set the bar high, the choreography and timing of use of the props was impeccable. Pushing the boundaries of performing challenging dance numbers whilst harmonising just proves how talented this cast is. The show isn’t shouted about enough, in awe of the main duo Bobby and Polly. Absolutely sensational. I’ve been talking about the show non stop since seeing it on Friday! Big welldone to all involved!

CRAZY FOR IT ALL

Despite the threat of rain it certainly did not dampen the spirit of the show or it's performers and the outdoor atmosphere made it feel you were almost part of the show and anyway we are British and are prepared for anything the weather can throw at us. The toe-tapping renditions of the Gershwin classics were a real treat and there were some great comedic moments especially between the main characters of Bobby Childs and Bela Zangler - pure class. Special mention for Michael McKell who plays Lank who managed to pull off the tradtional 'love to hate' character with great aplomb. Full marks to all involved and 2011 won't be complete without a trip to see Crazy For You - so just do it x

CRAZY FOR YOU

Saw the first night and have already booked the last, in January! The show on its own rates 5 stars, main highlights being the wonderful Charlie Stemp and the music of George and Ira Gershwin. I have deducted a point because the seats are so uncomfortable. There was a joke about them in the show and it got one of the loudest laughs of the night.

POOR VIEW FOR A DANCE SHOW

The songs and acting were good but if you want to see the dance routines don't sit in the first 4 rows as you won't be able to see their feet. The stage is too high at the gillian Lynne theatre

IT WOULD BE LOVELY IF THE LEADS COULD SING

After a few shaky moments in the first half, the dancing and acting was lovely. However, someone needs to re-cast the leading lady desperately as someone who can sing in tune. To mess up "Someone to watch over you" not a very difficult song was just ugly. The male lead has the same problem. Both seem to be trying to impersonate Broadway singers without the voices to go with. You can hear better singing in the Golden Eagle pub on a Tuesday.

GIVE THIS A MISS

We went to this on 31st October. The story line is flimsy in the extreme and the script is juvenile. The production is like a school effort. There is no memorable music in it and dancing just for the sake of dancing. Stage effects are practically non- existent. For us, the highlight of the show was the interval. Ignore what the official reviews state this is a show that will disappoint you.

FEEL GOOD FACTOR WAS THE LIGHTS COMING ON

Yes it really was that bad , with pointless extended dancing scenes and all the feeling of a school production . Just glad we had been given free tickets I wanted to leave at the interval just to save my back and rear end along with my brain anymore damage. But my good lady forced me to stay because of who we were with but I feel it only my duty to pass on how bad this show is , hence my title of "feel good factor was the lights coming on at the end" . And if the theatre reads this your stall seats are shocking it took me 3 days to get my lower back as it was before I endured Crazy for you
