British Theatre Guide, Warehouse of Dreams review
Chuck Anderson presents a world premiere drama that combines scientific ethics and racial prejudice in a co-production with Random Thoughts Limited. When a black male biochemist discovers a dangerous carcinogenic agent in a leading brand of herbicide, he tries to raise the alarm. However, vested interests in both the brand and viewed as belligerant and eccentric for his locs and his outlandish dress sense by his mostly white superiors inevitably means that he has a fight on his hands to uncover the truth - whatever the consequences.
This timely and relevant drama is helmed by Dan Phillips, who also collaborated with Anderson on Warehouse Of Dreams in 2014, which was a tightly written insight into the troubling world of refugee camps.
