FIRST ATTEMPT
It's always easy to knock other people's work...and in truth some of the problems we had were with the theatre and the production; the upper circle seats( the best we could afford) were limited, and the abrupt, loud music between set changes a " pain". We don't think it would last long without Matthew actually in it, and the second half is streets ahead of the first, but 10/10 for effort. Would we go if we knew? ...probably yes ...just for the experience...

Ostensibly, Perry has created a confessional work, a public act of self-flagellation and indulgence, which given his past is seemingly necessary and you can't accuse him of not writing what he knows
