QUALITY GONE!

Sadly the casting this year has not the quality I have seen in the past! The singing has certainly gone down hill! Seen two guys in the past week who were very inconsistent! Notes were flat an off key. Acting was poor! Think I saw one of them last year. He hadn't improved! If I remember rightly! Very poor standard for London prices!

NOT THE SHOW IT WAS!

Have enjoyed jersey boys for many years. Always a very talented cast who you would know were going to blow you away every time you saw the show. Sadly the casting has become like most long running shows over the the years. All about the money! Couldn't wait to see the show when it moved theatre last week. Saw jly for the first show. He was excellent! Went again with Michael Watson covering the lead. The standard between the two was so great you would think you were watching a different show! Michael is not up too the normal high standard of this show. Not west end anyway! What has happened to some of the other guys who have performed Frankie? He certainly is one of the poorer ones I have seen. Was very disappointed!!

NOT BAD! JUST NOT AS GOOD AS PREVIOUS YEARS!

Jersey boys has always held a special place for me compared to other musicals. Great songs, great casts. This year not so good casting I'm afraid! Michael Watson was put in last year to take over as a Frankie this year. (He did tell me this himself) He has the right look that the show was looking for. He started off not so good has made some improvement this year. Wish he would stop trying to copying other actors that have been Frankie before and just be himself. Vocally he probably has reached his level. Acting wise he needs to stop going over the top so much. Not a bad Frankie. Just not the best we have seen before. It's as simple as that.

BRILLIANT VOICES AND MUSIC - FILTHY, PROFANE LANGUAGE. PITY.

Really enjoyed the show. The musicians are excellent with amazing voices. The story is mediocre but as it is interspersed with such excellent songs it flows along nicely. The foul language is so unnecessary and detracts from a pleasant evening. It does NOT add to the streetwise authenticity. The constant use of the F word really grates with me and many others - I now find that thousands of others have found the swearing objectionable too. For the sake of British audiences please drop ALL the swear words - I will then come to see this otherwise excellent show again and again. I would then score it 5 stars!

OVER HYPED

This show is over hyped and over priced. paid £65 for rubbish seats. If you want to see a play its ok but don't come for the music as most of the songs are only half sung. go see the show at Leicester, much better.

NOT ALLOWED TO REACT TO MUSIC

Got told to keep it down by jobsworth staff when some people were singing and clapping to music. We came to see a musical not a serious play. Songs were only half sung. Over priced seats, show not worth the money. would advise to go see the music show at Leicester, Don't come to this one, you will be disappointed if you are a fan of Four Seasons.

What we thought

Unique SMOOTH compelling

Jersey Boys really captures the story of Franki Vali and the Four Seasons and their rag-to-riches musical journey.

If you weren't a teen in the 60's Jersey Boys has plenty of catchy non-stop hits that you are bound to recognise and love.
