John edwards from London,
LONG DAYS JOURNEY INTIO NIGHT
Unnecessarily long, verbose and not entirely audible in the royal circle particularly Manville's final emotional speech. I noticed a number of the audience left before the end because they were either philistines, emotionally drained or just tired of sitting through the author's self indulgence. Not an uplifting experience, humourless and drab, If you do go to this admittedly very well acted but tortuous play I recommend you sit near the front.

Beautifully staged, from casting to set design!
This is an excellent production from an exceptional cast and creative team helmed by director Richard Eyes. I would be surprised to not see it encounter several prominent awards - or nominations at the very least - during its run here on the West End.
