AMAZING

Went to see the show today for the second time and was not disappointed. The first time around I was stuck behind a pillar and a very tall person so did not get the best of views. Today I was smack bang in the middle of row A and enjoyed every minute, and truly felt the intense atmosphere of the play The cast are all so fantastic but, and this is no slur on the other cast members Martin Shaw, Robert Vaughan, Jeff Fahey and Nick Moran are just out of this world. I am so glad that I have managed to see it once more before Mr Shaw leaves the cast this weekend. Beg borrow or steal to get a ticket because it is SO WORTH IT. On both occassions there has not been a single empty seat for the weekday matinee performances so can't begin to imagine what the evening/weekend performances must be like

GREAT PLAY, EXCELLENT CAST, LET DOWN BY SOUND

Powerful production, very well worth seeing, but let down by the sound. Much of the sound wouldn't carry to the back of the stalls. Got a pair of headphones to use the loop system at the interval. This was better, but still often unclear. The theatre is looking really tatty as well. Can't you spend some of the inflated ticket prices on decoration, more comfortable seats and getting rId of the bare electric wires hanging out of the ceiling?

FANTASTIC ENSEMBLE CAST AND POWERFUL PERFORMANCES

Saw this last night and wasn't diappointed. Jeff Fahey was outstanding, the simple set and lighting meant that the audience could fully appreciate the performances and the rumble of the picadilly line actually adds to the atmosphere! The overall experience was only slightly hampered by the outdated theatre (complete with squeaky chairs!) if you are in the stalls, the front half is a must unless you have a keen sense of hearing.

GREAT

Every bit as enthralling as the original movie. These guys did a great job. Definitely recommend it, and would go and see it again.

WHY IS THIS SHOW HYPED?

To be fair the acting is good especially Robert Vaughn and Nick the problem is the director takes the audienve for granted in good will and co-operation. We do not know the plot or who the characters are also it is unclear if it is the 1940s or 1950s unless you purchase a program. If it is the hottest day of the year wouldnt they have removed their jackets? The room is not air conditioned they occupy.
