This madcap tale of mistaken identity is guaranteed to captivate younger audiences this summer.
Regent's Parks Open Air Theatre has quickly become of the capital's must see summer spectacles, an outside auditorium which every year hosts bold, vibrant productions of classic tales (in all weathers) from the likes of Shakespeare, Austen and Sondheim. Among their productions this year is a brand new take on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Specifically tailored to introduce youngsters to the great man's work, this version accentuates the madcap, slapstick elements of the Bard's greatest comedy. The story revolves identical twins Viola and Sebastian, and the tangled web of farcical misunderstandings which arise after Viola disguises herself as a man to find work.
