Including Best New Play and Best Director
A huge congratulations are in order for The Ferryman who picked up THREE Olivier Awards. At last nights ceremony the play, written by Jezz Butterworth and directed by Sam Mendes, won Best New Play and Best Director with original cast member Laura Donnelly winning the Best Actress award!
Set to close on May 19th in London, The Ferryman is heading stateside as they take their Olivier winning production to the Bernard B Jacobs Theater on Broadway.
It is thrilling to know that wider audiences will now have a chance to see this extraordinary new work from one of our most important writers.
