The Play That Goes Wrong Reviews
Jools from London,
JUST THE MOST HILARIOUS THING I'VE EVER SEEN!
If you like to laugh your socks off, this is a most worthwhile way to spend an evening. Clever script, superb timing from the cast and an excellent set combine to make this the show I've laughed at the most, ever. And I've been a theatre-goer for the best part of 40 years. There's nothing really to offend a family audience, though parents wouldn't like their youngsters emulating the drinking habits of the actors, so be warned! This is a small theatre and all seats should have an excellent view.

THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG
They say that laughter is the best medicine..this should be a staple prescription on the NHS. Not one blemish in this all embracing funfest. And the whole family can enjoy this superbly engineered production.

LAUGH OUT LOUD BRILLIANT
Quite simply the best thing I’ve ever watched. Hilarious from start to finish.

SUPERB
Anyone who doesn’t enjoy this really has had a sense of humour bypass .. I’m not a fan of live theatre in general but this has converted me .. the comic timing / acting and fun was quite simply superb from all involved .. absolutely brilliant 👏👏👏

MADE ME CRY
I loved it. There were times when I was crying with laughter & times I could hardly breathe because of laughing. Then there were moments when I could gather myself but could hear another audience members laughing. The script was clever (& funny) & the action hilarious. Afterwards I asked my son what his favourite part was & we kept remembering different things & laughing at the memory. We decided we didn’t have a favourite moment… We went on a Tuesday night & I couldn’t see an empty seat anywhere in the dress circle.
Linda Couper from London,
JUST GREAT FUN
Great way to spend an evening, full of laughs and a great cast. Highly recommended!
Chris from Bristol Hippodrome
FUNNY BUT FORCED
This was a great play but some of the overdramatic scenes went on for longer than necessary which caused the show to become slightly boring in places, however the show did cause genuine laughs and some audience interaction. The Cornley Politechnic Society's Peter Pan Goes Wrong is done a lot better in my opinion, although you're still not missing out by watching this!

NOT PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED
Some of the people around me found it hilarious. I didn't enjoy it that much but have seen worse.

EVERYONE ELSE LOVES IT!
The lobby attendant had to move the rope to let me out of the theater at intermission, as I so disliked the show, mainly because I could not discern any plot and found the humor too silly or too predictable. I took a seat at a bar across the street to watch others stream out. No one followed me out. The show came to the US, where it is also popular. Give it a try, most like it, or you can leave for a drink at intermission.
