RUBBISH

Really bad play. And staff at criterian theatre were rude. As i was trying to turn my phone off within seconds of the start. As it turned itself on by mistake. i was lambasted by a female steward dressed as elvira to put my phone off. Which is what i was trying to do. Condescending. Rude staff. And not a great play

NOT SCARY, JUST ANNOYING

I had high hopes for this show after seeing 'Ghost Stories' a few years ago but this was completely disappointing. Most of the actors seemed to shout their lines and it didn't feel very natural (it felt almost like you were watching people run-through a script quickly). The only 'scary' bits were a loud scream which had no relevance as you never found out what was actually causing the scream. The characters were annoying (apart from Matt Willis as Ben who was ok) which made it tiring to watch. The story was uneventful with lots of tangents that didn't go anywhere. All round very disappointing.

SLOW AND EXCEPTIONALLY BORING.

Never really got going for me watching and listening to 4 people talking to one another in an open plan living area and the plot going no where fast with a few lame jokes and a bit of profanity thrown in for good measure πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ I left in the interval as I was bored senseless, disappointing.

SO DISAPPOINTED

Where do I start? Awful acting, really hamming it up, wooden, unbelievable. Q. How did the drunk friend know where the trash bin was in the kitchen cupboard if she’d never visited before? She went straight to it, opened the drawer and found the bin straight off. Trivial I know but it summed up an amateurish production with a predictable ending. I guessed it early on in the second half. Had upper circle seats so not cheap. A complete waste of money.

OMG THIS IS A REAL MESS

No spoilers here but the play opens with one of the characters painting a door frame. From then on you would be better off watching paint dry. The cast did their best with a poor script and ridiculous story but this one is a real stinker. Pay no attention to the five star reviews- I can’t believe they are genuine. Avoid like the plague!

HAS EVERYONE LOST THE PLOT?

I booked on a recommendation from a friend. I thought the story was flimsy, uninteresting characters, poor set. The 4 main actors were average. Cheryl Cole is good to look at but no Helen Mirren when it comes to treading the boards. Max from eastenders was as bad a cor blimey cockney as Dick van Dyke was in Mary Poppins. This was a very poor play, badly written and staged ultimately cremated by poor acting. In short πŸ• πŸ’©

DISAPPOINTED

Acting was bad, amateurish. Arguing all the time - find it boring. Poor story. Poor acting skills. Bad!
