I have just seen the show for the eighth time. Still makes me cry every time. (July 2014) Current Thenardier's quite different but fantastic. Very impressive Javert and Jean Valjean. All round marvellous. Brought my kids and their partners this time, they all loved it too. Here's to the 50th anniversary.....i'll be there!

Fantastic show, brilliant cast with superb voices. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and will probably go again.

We saw the show most recently on Wednesday 29th May and we were overwhelmed emotionally, as usual, and so impressed with the superb cast and the many little tweaks and innovations since we last saw the show. It is arguably the best version which we have seen over the years, with many notable performances including Jean Valjean, Fantine, the Thenardiers, Cosette and the children. Special mention must be given to Bradley James as Javert with his powerful voice and presence. However the performance of Raymond Walsh in the supporting role of Grantaire was eye-catching with his voice, acting and dancing to match. He really did, in that most abused cliche, make the part his own! Thank you so much for the experience - we will be back!

My family really enjoyed the Les Mis cast from 2007-2008 at Queens Theatre, especially Cassie Compton. We were trying to find the soundtrack featuring the the 07-08 cast, but so far to no avail. Where can we find/purchase it? There are couple of On My Own's featuring Cassie Compton, but the one we liked had poor audio quality.
Alice - a 16 year old musical lover. from Norfolk
I went to see this at the end of august. Having seen only the recorded anniversary concerts and fallen in love with them, finally getting to go to the live performance was incredible. I cried so many times, everyone's voices were brilliant, even my least favourite song (a heart full of love) was sung beautifully. A little fall of rain absolutely killed me, I sobbed all the way back to the hotel. I have been singing all of the songs for months. The only reason I haven't put 5 is nothing to do with the performance. It's the fact that I would have loved to have seen Valjean be played by Alfie Boe.:)I highly recommend this to anyone who loves the songs. It is an emotional roller coaster all the way through. Even my 13 year old sister who isn't a fan of musicals cried and loved it. It's so worth it. You will never forget. It's a must see. There's a reason it's been going for 27 years :)

Anonymous from London,
A fantastic show! Although the story line is sad at many points, the amazing music, acting, and occasional humour makes this show a must see. Book tickets now! Orchestra and cast are incredible, as well as the stage set up. Might be useful to see the 2012 film first, as that is also splendid!

The world has embraced 'Les Mis' with both arms.
As the first trumpet sounded and the curtain rose I was sucked into 19th century France along with the inner turmoil of our hero Jean Valjean, played by the fantastic Killian Donnelly.Read full review
