WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG ...

... to see this show. The cast is so slick, the production so smooth and the music so uplifting that it is a fabulous experience. You know all of the songs and they are sung fabulously. The audience regularly stopped the show by outbreaks of thunderous applause and ended up giving a standing ovation. There is quite a bit of bad language but the script is funny too. Do yourself a favour AND SEE THIS SHOW!

This was a great show! Music was fantastic and the cast was so believable ! wish our seats had been better, but we booked last minute, lucky to get a seat.

VERY VERY ENJOYABLE SHOW

Ben Jennings was a very good lead and he deserves it. Great vocals. Enjoyed the show a lot and would see it again the future

JERSEY BOYS

Really enjoyed the show, performance and music great, such a pity about the bad language it did not do anything but detract from an otherwise super evening. Should have an age warning on the posters, I would hate to have taken young or older people with us.

FOULED AIR

The show itself was fantastic, but why do theatres think it is necessary to have actors smoke on stage? It added absolutely nothing to the performance and was no more than an unpleasant distraction. If a director wants to convey that a character is inconsiderate, stupid, suicidal or intrusive they can convey that without stinking up the whole place with toxic, foul fumes. Sure they will say that is what the character did, but I bet they farted, picked their noses and masturbated too, but they don't need to do it on stage. If you are going to stink up my breathing air, please warn me before hand.

BAD LANGUAGE

what a pity a brilliant production spoilt by bad language, i was very glad that i didn't take my 88yr old mother as i usually do i appreciate that during the times of growing up in new york this was the norm but felt that it was not neccesary for the f word to used so many times, theatre was good and seating was well organised

WONDERFUL TALENT BUT WHERE WERE THE SONGS?

If you're a baby boomer and want a dose of nostalga then this is for you. I saw it late last year and the talent is amazing. None of the cast disappoint. However, I agree with a lot of the other reviewers who, like me, were waiting for a sort of grande finale of a great burst of all the songs. This unfortunately didn't happen. Too many songs were interrupted and unfinished and left me with a slightly dissatisfied feeling once it had finished. My husband however, thoroughly enjoyed it and would probably rate it as a 5. The history of the group though was really interesting and overall it is a great show.

What we thought

If you've seen it before, I recommend seeing it again to see how the new cast and theatre, and newcomers will delight in the sheer toe-tapping fabulousity of the numbers.

Even if you weren't a twinkle in your parents' eyes in the Sixties, Jersey Boys has plenty of catchy non-stop hits that you are bound to recognise.
