WHAT A NIGHT

Just saw Jersey Boys in London and have to say that the cast were fantastic! It was a tremendous show and all of the performers were brilliant. Its pretty non stop so you don't get much of a chance between one great song and the next to take it all in. Highlights for me were when Frankie sang 'My Eyes Adore You' and the great TV studio sequences. The Prince Edward Theatre is really nice and we had interval drinks out on the balcony inthe dress circle bar looking out over Old Compton Street which was nice. The language used is all in keeping but is a bit strong and I would only take teenagers to see this.

LEAVE THEM DANCING!

a brilliant girls night out , the voices and choreography were suberb and for ladies of "a certain age" it provided a perfect nostalgia trip. The audience were dancing in the isles at the end and came out on a high. My sister-in-law went two nights in a row and is planning another trip soon. Five star and then some!

Saw this in London on Tuesday.- what can I say, absolutely brilliant, everyone was up dancing including the men, this show suits all ages (above 14) and all genders. Hope it comes to Scotland , will go again and again to see it.

OH WHAT AN AFTERNOON!

I booked this on a whim, but am I glad I did. This is simply the best show I've seen in a long time. Hugely energetic from start to finish with an absolutely top notch cast, who seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the audience. You'll be tapping your toe (if not more!) from the off. We went to the matinee and I heard so many people saying that they wanted to go again that evening. Go see it - you won't regret it. A surefire, feelgood hit

FANTASTIC!

I felt that I had to add a review after I went to see the show on Sat 8 March. What an absolutely fantastic musical. I didn't really know what to expect but after the first few minutes of it being on, I knew it was going to be great! The cast were truly amazing and first class. It was a fab atmosphere throughout the whole show. In my opinion, it puts every other musical to shame at the moment. They got a well deserved standing ovation at the end. Top marks to the writers and producers! If there's one thing you do over the next few months, make sure you see Jersey Boys, believe me, it's worth every penny!

THE BEST MUSICAL I'VE SEEN IN YEARS....

I saw Jersey Boys last night. What a show! Ryan is terrific as Frankie Valli, but all the main characters are superb, and sing so well together. There is so much energy - and great songs - in the show. I really recommend it and will go again - the best I've seen in many years.

Went to see Jersey Boys on Saturday 15th March and absolutely loved it. I have seen it before in New York and my friend has seen it in San Francisco - we both thought it was as good if not better! FIRST NIGHT EVER - 28 FEBRUARY

My daughter treated me to see this superb show on its first ever night. Waiting to see the wrinkles and safety pins which usually accompany a first night of anything and it was superb. It flowed. They had people giving the stage a standing ovation. One word - magic.

BRILLIANT

The Jersey Boys is one not to be missed. my friend and i had a wonderful evening, the only downside was that we were front row on the Grand Circle, so we could not see all of the stage unless we leant forward! The show is fast moving, the singing is pure class, and i didn't realise how many of the songs I knew! Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking for an entertaining evening. O WHAT A NIGHT INDEED

My Husband and I went to see this with 2 friends on Sat 15th March 7.30pm performance. The show is FANTASTIC the songs were great and sang wonderfuly. The Cast seemed as if they were enjoying the show as much as us. The sets were amazing and the casts timings were perfection. What else can one say!, the show truly desevered the Standing Ovation that was delivered. As for me well, I have ordered Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons CD as I enjoyed the songs so much. It really is a show to be seen by anyone age 15 to 115. PS. I would love to go and see this again.

WOW ! WHAT A NIGHT.

I have always been a Frankie Valli fan but never knew the background of the Four Seasons. In early March on holiday in New York, I attempted to get tickets for "The Jersey Boys" on Broadway, but nothing suitable was available. We decided to wait until we returned to London and go to the Prince Edward Theatre. I bought tickets on the internet for April 1st. and on arriving at the theatre, my wife and I were gob-smacked to learn we were being up-graded to the stalls. 7 rows from the front dead centre stage. The show was fantastic, the singers and cast were second to none ... I couldn't fault anything. The best musical I have ever seen by a very long way and certainly experienced from one of the best seats in the house.

I never knew the story behind the Four Seasons as I listened to their records on the radio.My early teenage years were influenced by a massive change in music styles with the UK being the centre of all things hip. Through all that Frankie and the boys kept on singing those wonderful songs in a style that was all their own; a style that evokes so many memories of that era. I saw Jersey Boys in London last night and thought it was the best original musical I have ever seen. The performance was slick and professional, not choosing to be just a showcase for the songs but a real telling of a story. The talent on stage was impressive as all four Boys told the story from their own point of view. It was gritty, funny, poignant and sad. Musically it was faultless. I would recommend this show to all but those easily offended by bad language but hey, it was how they lived their lives. A great night's entertainment and a superb musical. May it run for years.

Just arrived home, after a fabulous evening.I have never sat 2 rows back from the stage at the theatre but I have to say It was just amazing...loved every minute beats Hairspray anyday which my husband walked out of.

OH WHAT A FABULOUS NIGHT!!!

Saw show last night with my husband, his sister(birthday treat) and her husband. We all had a fabulous time. From the wonderful voices to the brilliant writing, the fab sets, great acting and just the wonderfully slick, polished performances by all. A huge thankyou for a wonderful evening to all. It was the first time my husband has been to a "London Show" and he loved it! We had seats up in the Grand Circle in row A, great view but if you are a shortie like me you have to sit forward as to see over the rail. Not a show for children because of the language, but that was just a true reflection of the piece. We finished of the evening with a Chinese meal still chewing over the merits of the show. A big thanks to brother in law who drove us home (slept all the way)(me that is not him!). Once again a huge CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS to to all cast and crew etc.

BEST SHOW I'VE SEEN

I have just been to see Jersey Boys and I have to say, it is the best show I have ever seen. Right from the start it gets you involved, the acting is excellent and needless to say, THE SONGS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. The best, personnally speaking for me is, I would say that you enjoy it, because the actors/actresses also look like they are enjoying it to , which gives it that really good feeling and a good atmosphere. I will definitely go and see it again. SO IF ANYONE FEELS A BIT DOWN IN THE DUMPS go and see this, it will lift your spirits.

I have been hearing rave reviews about this show even before it opened. Because of this I was a bit apprehensive as to what I might see. But "OH WHAT A SHOW". The cast had the audience hand clapping to the songs from the start, and there great applause after many of them. If you are feeling depressed I suggest that you go and see "Jersey Boys"

I don't normally believe all the hype about a show BUT The Jersey Boys deserves every word of praise ever written - it is unbelievably FANTASTIC! Wow! Fantastic. Best show I've seen in the West End in a long time. Guy playing Franki Valli is superb! (Hope they have a good understudy as Franki's voice is a tough one to immitate!) All the songs are so familiar (and great) and I admit I'd not appreciated they we're by the 4 Seasons. Yes - I've bought the CD, too! Just go and see it!

OUTSTANDING!!

I went to see the show on 7th May and it was the best I have seen yet in the west end! The cast were superb - Frankie Valli was unbelieveable! It was worth every penny and it would be a pleasure to see again. It is a perfect mix of music (old favourites) and dialogue, after all it is a musical not a concert! There isn't a single boring moment in the whole thing, whether it's listening to the story or having a good sing along, it's upbeat and fun - all in all a great night!

SHE TREATED US LIKE ROYALTY AND LOOKED AFTER ALL OUR NEEDS. MY HUSBAND IS TERMINALLY ILL AND THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE LAST SHOW WE WILL EVER GO TO BECAUSE OF HIS DETERIATING HEALTH AND THE PROBLEMS GETTING TO THE THEATRE. I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS NIGHT OUT. WHAT A FEELING, WHAT A NIGHT!

Just home from a matinee performance, and was strongly tempted to recycle my ticket for the evening! Everything you may have heard about the show is true - it's spectacular, exhilerating, and by far and away the best way I can think of to spend just under three hours. Special mention to Glenn Carter and Ryan Molloy as Tommy and Frankie - you guys rock! I cannot recommend the experience highly enough - it may not be the cheapest ticket in town, but it more than compensates with a high WOW factor! P.S. Any chance of a season ticket?!

WENT TO SEE THE SHOW ON JULY14TH MY BIRTHDAY,The best gift I could have had. It was a monday night usually black in theatre world,and the house was sold out. Fom the moment that the curtain went up I was captured by the fantastic fast pace of the show ,the lights ,the tec,the flo from one scene to the next,was nothing less than perfection. If you want to have a night that starts and ends in WOW!!!! then this is the show for the whole family. There were times that the audience would not let the actors continue to the next scene they were clapping and cheering so loud and long. This is Theatre at its best,and the proof was when the audience gave this wonderfull,animated and fabulouse cast a unified standing ovation.At the end of my row I believe that the Director or the choreogropher was in the audience that night pen and pad in hand,well if he had to say anything to the cast that night ,it should have been only positive. BRAVO TO ALL IN THE CAST AND BACKSTAGE CREW.

This show is absolutely fantastic. The acting is superb and the arrangement of songs around the storyline is second to none. Be warned there are a few swear words used in this show but they are used in proper context for the storyline. If you only go to see one show this year make sure that its this one because it keeps you entertained right throughout. I must admit that Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons isnt my era but after the show i become addicted to their music absolutely fantastic

AMAZING.

I'm only 17, and took my mum to see it for her birthday, I didn't even know who the four seasons were, but I said to my mum I would go, and I knew most of the songs apart from about 4, I was singing to them as well! Wow! The show was a birthday treat from my sister-what a gift! The show was captivating from the start and packed full of witty dialogue and captivating music. MIND-BLOWING FROM START TO FINISH

I have been to a few shows and said wow it was good,but believe me if you see the Jersey Boys you will walk away with a smile on your face and a song or two in your heart. The story is great and the music is unbellivable,and the cast are mindblowing. Belive me you will have a lump in your throat and be addicted to the show,I am going for the third time next week,and my 12 year old also loves it and cant wait. The best yet,you cant beat it.

AMAZING!

What a great night! I went to see this knowing nothing about The Four Seasons and not expecting much but what a fantastic musical! I loved how all four characters shared their point of view and told their stories ... all actors were superb but the standout for me was Glenn Carter who played Tommy DeVito-he has such stage presence, charisma and got into his character so well...plus he is gorgeous! The songs were great and i loved that they didn't need an excuse to break into song like a lot of other musicals...they would just have them singing in concert with US as the audience :) Only thing i would say is that it would be nice if they sang songs the whole way through instead of cutting them short for dialogue....but other than that...BRILLIANT! I'm going to see it again!

CANNOT GET ENOUGH!!

As is Glenn Carter who plays Tommy!....Anyway I digress...back to the show...I did not want it to end, you cannot believe all the songs that they produced and, that you know them!! It is an amazing night, the best show I have seen in a long, long time. I would recommend seats in the stalls - eye level with the stage to soak up the emotion on the actors faces and feel a part of the whole story, good for getting up and dancing too!! Cannot wait to see it again, and coming from someone that rarely watches a film twice - is praise indeed. FANTASTIC SHOW!!

saw this show in May, the part when they first sang Sherry brought shivers to my spine, it was electrifing as was all the rest of the show, I will be seeing it again soon and no doubt I will see it for a third time, the cast was amazing, I saw the understudy for Frankie Valli and he was very very good, don't miss this show, go and see it, I wish they would make a DVD of the London show so I could keep it forever

Spectacular music with excellent performers telling a great story. The seating was excellent. Plenty of room, good views and accoustics and very comfortable. The box office referred us to a superb Italian restaurant that we went to before the perfrmance. A GREAT EVENING!!!

I have been to see Jersey Boys in London 3 times now .... it's a long trip from Canada but worth it... Ryan Molloy is a superbly gifted actor and does a fantastic job! .... as well as the other 3 fellows...! Truly a wonderful show - loads of fun as well as many poignant scenes - and the music is just the best. Do not miss this ! It's a fantastic evening out. You will not regret it! I promise! I hope to go again to the London production in the spring! Cheers to Ryan and the boys!

My girlfriend and sister came down for the weekend to take in a show etc. This show was probably one of the best things I have ever seen before and the girls both agreed. Singing was excellent, content/story excellent and outfits were immaculate. Thanks for making our weekend. The language was very approriate and not offensive in any way, very apt for the era and story line. Thanks again brilliant. PS We are all in our thirties and as they say in my home town in Scotland the show was (Pure quality).

FANTASTIC JERSEY BOYS

A group of us finished a day out with a trip to the Jersey Boys. I have to say it wasn't the part of the day I was most looking forward to - I'm not the biggest fan of musicals. However, how wrong I was. This was a fantastic experience - a really well written (and funny) script, great acting and performances, and fantastic music. You'll spend the evening thinking "I didn't realise they wrote this". A fantastic evening. If you are looking for a muscial to see, do NOT miss this.

after much nagging from the other half I bit the bullet and took her the brother & sister in law to see frankie 21 nov 2008 wow what was my problem absolutely brilliant.I closed my eyes and i swear it was frankie doing a live gig yes i remember them first time around and this was just as good well done to all the cast especially the boys. cant wait to go again roll on

WOW!!!!!

This was the first stage show that I have been to see and wow is the only way to describe it. I have never really known that much about Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons so it was wonderful to learn the story behind the music. The cast were all fantastic singers and I was surprised how close to the real thing it sounded. I would recommend this show to anyone, wither they enjoy stage shows or not this will change your mind if you don't. You will leave the theatre looking like the chesser cat. All in all a fantastic night out thoroughly enjoyable.

WONDERFUL!! JERSEY BOYS!!!

went to the show for the matinee performance I was in a small group me, my 8 year old daughter, my friend and her 16 year old daughter!! I have attended many shows and concerts and can honestly say this was the best thing i have ever been too!! from the theatre to the stage to the wonderful music and the fantastic cast there is nothing to match it! the language is warm but nothing my daughter hasnt heard before and was in keeping with the time and setting, no sex, no violence, it has its sad moments but leaves you with a huge high!! smiles all round!! i would reccomend it to anyone even people who dont normally listen to this type of music, visitors to london would have a wonderful memory of thier trip if they visit this show! worth every penny

GIMME MORE!!

I have just seen the show for the second time and, once again, was completely blown away - if anything, it just gets better with age! The acting, singing and casting were all impeccable, and a special "hats off" to Jye Frasca (Frankie) who brought real humour, emotion and vulnerability to the role, and Glenn Carter as Tommy who, in my humble opinion, is possibly the best thing to hit the London stage since the invention of the spotlight - talented and gorgeous! Treat yourself this Christmas to a ticket (or three) - you won't regret it!

BIRTHDAY/NEW YEARS DAY TREAT

We went to see the Jersey Boys on New Years day 2009 and absolutely loved it. It was my husbands choice (his birthday) I didn't really know much about Frankie Valie and The Four Seasons before this they must have been somewhere in the back of my mind though as I soon remembered and sang along to all the songs. A terrific story not at all marred by the smoking on stage or the bad language. We loved it from start to finish - wish the theatre had closed the front doors on a very cold afternoon - we did not remove our coats until half way through.

JUST WONDERFUL.

How often do you go to the theatre and enjoy every moment from start to finish. You will with this show, the music is wonderful and the cast could not be better. We sat in the Dress Circle and had a great view. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and a pub that sells the best coffee you have every tasted.

GIMME MORE!!!!

Thought I'd buck the trend and write a "pre-emptive" review of the show, having already seen it twice and having booked to see it again in October (a birthday treat for my sister - honest guv!) I have never been to any other show that has garnered so many glowing tributes over such a relatively short period, and can honestly say that they are all thoroughly deserved - the immaculate casting, impeccable acting and glorious singing coupled with moments of real humour and pathos all make for a truly memorable occasion. If there is anyone out there contemplating going to see the show - do it. For those of you who have not previously considered buying a ticket - why?!

ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT

Five friends and I went to see this last night and all of us enjoyed the show immensely. Not a word of criticism from any of us. I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a show this much. I have to say that the show was made even more enjoyable by the theatre staff whose willingness to accommodate my two friends in wheelchairs went above and beyond the call. MUST SEE

Went to see show friday 6th Feb. Well what can you say, It was the most wonderful evening i've had in a long time. Fantastic doesn't do it credit, the Music, the Singing, the Story,from beginning to end the whole Show was incredible. Went home thinking how glad i went and if i hadn't what i would have missed out on. You have to see this show.

REVIEW WITH A QUESTION!

My wife and I recently had a fantastic evening and enjoyed every minute.We lived for several years in New Jersey and the show allowed us to re-live many happy moments from our past. I have one question, which will hopefully put some cash in my hand.During the show, images were shown on screen which my wife states were actual footage of the Band from years ago.I think differently and that they were/are live shots of the perfomers on stage at the time of the show.Could someone please provide the answer?

THE VERY BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN

I have now seen this show 3 times it is so fantastic. I could never really understand why people went to a show more than once. Although I have enjoyed many shows in the West End I have never been back to see any other ones. This one I could happily sit through once a week. I have seen both Frankie VallI's 2 Tommy De Vitos and 2 Bob Gaudio's, all were excellent. My 15 year old son loves it as much as I do as does my husband . You walk out on such a high. I think the thing that makes this show so special is that it is a true story told from four peoples different perspectives and so not biased. The music it fantastic as is the set and all the cast. The theatre is one of the best. One word of advice. Get the best seats you can afford you will be glad that you did. My recomendation is the stalls between rows E and K . Have a grat time

The acting was superb - I had to google the actors to see of they really were from New Jersey!! Ryan Molloy is superb but to be fair the whole cast were great and the four main characters really complimented eachother. The singing and dancing was brilliant. People were itching to get up and dance and we had our chance at the end to a reprise of "Oh What a Night". We love all the 60's nostalgia and the mafia links were something we didn't know about but cannot believe the amount of songs that Bob Gaudio wrote!! In a nutshell, it was colourful, foot tapping, funny, sad, touching and just down right amazing! I brought the Soundtrack and am now driving everyone mad!! Can't wait to see it again!

i thought the show was the best i seen but unfortunatley my eve was spoil as my husband fell over on your steps my husband is disabled and has trouble climbing stairs when i booked these tickets i was told these seats was better as they where near a toilet and pay the exra money i could not find a manager at all that nite and i am very dissopointed at the lack of hand rails your theatre as the hand rails u did have were on the wrong side thank you for your time kerrysbray@hotmail.co.uk it would have made more sense if your usher had sent him back 2 the lobby

OH! WHAT A NIGHT! -CORNY BUT TRUE

Wow, what a performance, the music and vocals were incredible and we were left in awe at the notes the cast have to hit night after night. It was also extremely funny, the comic turns from such amazing singers, definetley not 'Jack of all trades, master of none'!.I, being 17, was slightly apprehensive about seeing this show, knowing none of the music. My worries were forgotten, i love the music now and me and my mother cannot stop singing!!!! I would thoroughly recommend the show to any prospective customer. Younger people will get just as much out of it as those who are familiar with the music. A thoroughly worthwhile show.

OH WHAT A NIGHT

As a 50th birthday treat for my friend I booked tickets for the two of us to see the Jersey Boys, I had read some terrific reviews but I was a little apprehensive as I was not sure if it would be my friends cup of tea, we were not disappointed it was a fantastic show we laughed one minute and cried the next, good story and brilliant acting and singing, we did not want it to end. The seating we had was excellent (three rows from the stage), our stay in London was all the more memorable due to the JERSEY BOYS . I am now looking at booking another show to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday in September I'm sure we will not be dissappointed

AMAZING!!

I have just got back from London and saw the matinee performance yesterday and ive got to say totally awesome. It was a fast moving, slick and a totally engaging show. The cast were excellant and i enjoyed every bit.
