James Thierree and his innovative Compagnie du Hanneton invite you back into his wonderfully weird world with his newest work The Toad Knew. Blending aspects of acrobatics, mime, dance and more this is a unique visit to a surreal landscape where six characters find themselves in a strange lair where nothing is as it seems. Transformations, magical self-playing instruments, and odd beasts collide to create a vibrant spectacle of physical performance and marvellous illusion.

The son of famed French circus creators and Grandson of Charlie Chaplin, Swiss born Thierree is an esteemed and renowned artist in his own right. After setting up Compagnie du Hanneton in 1998, he has created many works that display his talents as a dancer, humourist, musician and designer.
