Four aged between 53 and 19, thoroughly enjoyed the show, even though the 19 year old was too young to remember the furore at the time. Well performed and engaging throughout. Highly recommend

Shallow and unsatisfying

Agree with the newspaper reviewer who said he wished this show would take itself a bit more seriously. It could have been a searching analysis of what motivates people to cheat like this, what is the back story, how do they inveigle or co-opt others into the conspiracy, etc. Instead we just get a gimmicky and glitzy parody of the game show genre. I can see what they're trying to do but I ended up feeling patronised and even bullied a little.

Repetitive and cliched

Maybe this wasn't for me anyway as I'm not a quiz show fan. The first half was fairly interesting, though all the characters were unappealing - amusing turn though by the Chris Tarrant character! Wife character also acted well. Very dull set visually. The second half was just a boring repeat, with the added clichéd discovery of how easily people shift their opinion when new evidence is brought in. This sort of thing is so obvious, and has been done before, much more dramatically, in a jury setting. Only go if you are a) a quiz fan, and b) like the message of a play to be well and truly hammered in
