Having seen the show yesterday in a theatre that was far from full and being completely blown away by the performance I have just looked at the reviews online from the so called critics. The Telegraph writer was completely destructive and I really wonder if he saw the same show or maybe he just cannot cope with this exploratory fusion of styles. Yesterday the performers were given a long standing ovation so clearly my wife and I are not the only ones!! Exploratory yes, pushing the boundaries yes, superb dancing in all three styles yes. It was absolutely exciting and superb. I am confidentnthey must be met by this sort of reaction at most performances but maybe when the critics are there with a bad smell under tgeir noses they are unable to relax and just enjoy the moment!
