Hard to believe the previous review is for the same play, I'm sorry you missed the second half and I will be amazed if the critics don't give it glowing reviews. There was no chance of anybody leaving half way through the performance I saw, which was utterly enthralling, heartfelt and sublimely performed. Patsy Ferran was exceptional from the start and will no doubt be getting many more prominent roles after this – in fact it would be no surprise if this is the latest Almeida show to transfer to the West End.

Not a great play; he has written better ones . The themes are slow to develop. Some great performances but the doubling up of actors in 2 or even 3 roles makes for confusion. A change of dress would have been helpful. We left at the interval.
