PANTO WITHOUT THE HUMOUR

I know I took a bit of a risk as other reviews were varied but I wasn't prepared for something quite so dire in the West End. First half was slow and consisted mostly of poo jokes and someone pretending to be Peggy from 1980s BBC sitcom Hi-De-Hi (anyone under 40 ask your parents!). The cast were full of enthusiasm but I am not sure they all knew they were in the same play. No idea what the second half was like as we bailed at half time.

UNCREATIVE, NOT ORIGINAL, NOT FUNNY

I was super excited to see this show as I LOVE drag queens! However, I was utterly disappointed yesterday. First, the story and the characters don't make any sense and the play is disconnected throughout. Triplets? Lady Di? American weather queen? Ninjas? A pop princess? There's no connection between any of the characters. A shit covered bathroom seems to be one of the main storylines of this play :S It was just weird but worse, it wasn't funny at all. I was waiting the entire first half for a punchline, for a reason why the shit covered bathroom had anything to do with anything, but nothing. I don't understand how this made it to the biggest theatre stage in Europe - the West End?! I definitely could write a better storyline than this, and I can actually write a few jokes too.
