Magic Mike Live Reviews

DISAPPOINTED
Although we enjoyed the show, it was way over priced. Length of the show was only 1.5 hours and sadly only really involved the lower tear. There was not much audience participation.

SADLY DISAPPOINTING
Sadly I came away from this show feeling decidedly underwhelmed. It all felt very disorganised and seriously lacking in structure. There were brief enjoyable periods when the guys were on stage performing their own style of dance but sadly these were short and sweet. There was way too much running around girating on poles etc, and not anywhere near enough actual routines. The Mc on the night was a lady who quite honestly, spoke too much, and was on stage way too much of the show. I would have to say it seemed more about her than the guys, which if you’re going to see Magic Mike is honestly not what you’re going for. I was there with too friends and we were all sadly disappointed.

DISAPPOINTED
As I entered the venue I was very surprised how small the seating area was, as was the stage. I did expect something spectacular for my £150 unfortunately our group of friends were very disappointed . I felt the boys were very average in their looks yes they had good bodies and could dance but nothing sexy about them all very staged they repeated the same moves over. They didn’t do anything special. The Chippendales were far superior as were the Aussies from down under. The highlight of the show was a couple dancing under a rain shower. So really disappointed and between us wasted £600

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH
Very disappointing show. The MC spoke way too much and quickly became very annoying. The dancers were very robotic and cold. They were just going through the motions and not engaging with the audience at all. A complete waste of money!

WHERE WAS THE STRIPPING?
This was disappointing. I’ve had better nights out seeing the dream boys if I’m honest. Not one bit related to the film and quite cheesy. Dance routines were minimal with little to no stripping happening. Having the female lead didn’t really work either.

MAGIC MIKE AT HIPPODROME LONDON
What a waste of time and money! The female compare was dreadful and on stage way too much! Went with a group of friends and spent nearly £500 on tickets so was expecting polished dance performances and hunky men! What we got was poor dance routines performed by uninterested guys who weren’t a patch on the chippendales! We had a waiter assigned to our seating area to order drinks which we did however he was wanting to settle the bill way before the performance had even ended absolutely ridiculous! The whole thing was cheap and tacky and we were totally ripped off . So avoid like the plague! All so disappointing and very surprised Channing Tatum puts his name to this I would be so ashamed if I was associated with this so called show!
