CINDERELLA

MK theatre puts on the best pantomime outside of the Palladium … let’s be honest you can’t compete with that production and venue right? 2023/4 production was excellent, I went late to see the show on Thursday 11th with older family, TBH I shouldn’t have taken time off work but OMG had Brian or is it Bryan Conely nailed it. He was amazing, I felt the energy from him but let’s not forget the rest of the team. Yes it was getting towards the end of the run, it was a matinee performance but boom were they brilliant. All I can say is apologies the older audience with some junior school attendees didn’t interact as much as we should have until the very end … Bryan and the four children up on stage inspired me ok … the comical genius by Bryan so quick witted incredible if you were there you experienced something. Especially that little girl Hope 3 years old … she made me shed a tear. Well done MK theatre you smashed it again

DISAPPOINTED

10th Dec 2023 Very funny and colourful panto. A great night out but not as much as previous pantos at MK. I felt Brian Conleys toilet humour was very funny but became very repetitive There were also repeat sketches from prev pantos . Stage effects and costumes were amazing. The cast were brilliant especially Fairy 312. However I was very uncomfortable and unimpressed during the Old McDonald sketch as Brian Conley was making fun of the two youngest children on the stage, thankfully too young to realise, to get a laugh.I felt he was impatient as they were obviously very overwhelmed and quiet and needed a little coaxing to speak. They had been so excited to go on the stage. The last child was given a teddybear as well as her bag from the promoters. The other three children were watching this from the audience. Why did they not get a teddybear ? Missed the twelve days of Christmas sketch as this is usually hilarious. Lovely theatre, great seats and service from MK staff and easy parking
