Loved it! Great performance not just from Jude Law but from all the cast. Never been a huge Jude Law fan but have to say i may now be swayed. He made an excellent King.

SHAKESPEARE AS IT SHOULD BE
At last a director that understands the popular appeal of shakespeare, an actor who has the talent to deliver it and a wonderful venue with excellent staging, medals all round to the cast especially jessie buckley and matt ryan but the whole evening was carried by jude law, brilliant! the best second half of the play I've ever seen, he delivers what must be one of the most difficult speeches in theatreland ( band of brothers) without a hint of self conciousness, over acting or that slight stiffness that can cripple such a well known piece, all the jokes worked really well and the "kiss me kate" scene was a peach. A truly memorable performance and a great night out, worth the near £300 quid for 2 good seats althought the G+T for a tenner a pop was a bit steep

WONDERFUL INTERPRETATION
Shakespeare's writing can be quite difficult (as beautiful as it is) to understand for some of us - but the acting and delivery was so wonderful, at times I felt as though I were listening to my first language! Wonderful performances all round - and with a very unfussy stage setting, this helps to focus on the performance and the words. Just loved it.

WELL WORTH A VISIT
Really enjoyed the play. However would recommend only if you enjoy Shakespeare, don't just go to see Jude Law, although he gives a great performance, as does all the cast. Set design may look bland to some, but is meant to represent the original Globe Theatre and fits well with opening speech.

COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT
Does not worth the money I paid for the tickets, was bored to death. Don't even bother to go.

I AGREE WITH THE REVIEWER WHO WAS BORED
Thank you for confirming I was not alone, a very dissatisfying visit to the West End, thankfully I only paid under £30. With one or two exceptions the cast is unremarkable all seem to fawn around Jude Law movie star who is miscast. The dull brown set is like a huge barn. The opening prologue delivered by a T shirted cast member looks like Grandage trying to be trendy.
