BAFTA winning Ifans is the latest star to play Scrooge!

Why See A Christmas Carol?

RHYS IFANS IS....

BAFTA Award-winning Welsh actor Rhys Ifans takes on the iconic role of Ebenezer Scrooge this Christmas, in a brand-new production created by Jack Thorne, the Olivier-winning playwright behind Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Presented at the Old Vic, this new production will be helmed by Matthew Warchus. Get ready for spine-tingling drama and goodwill to all during this Christmas season!

Ifans will be joined by John Dalgleish (Kinky Boots) as Marley and Alex Gaumond as Bob Crachit.

Penny pinching and bad tempered old miser Ebenezer Scrooge goes on the adventure of his life, from his past to his present and beyond and learns that the value of gold will never equal that of genuine love for his fellow men. The classic tale thrills with its beloved characters and message of compassion, love and kindness and of course, Christmas spirit.
