Why See The Human Seasons / After the Rain / New Crystal Pite?
A world premiere from Olivier and Critics Choice Award winner Crystal Pite leads a diverse bill from The Royal Ballet in this celebration of favourites new and established from the past few years.
After winning an Olivier and a Critics Choice Award for Polaris at Sadler's Wells, Pite's first work for the company promises to be a large-scale ensemble affair set to a score by Gorecki. Alongside her debut is Christopher Wheeldon's 2005 conceptual and compelling New York City Ballet piece After The Rain and David Dawson's 2013 Keats inspired meditation on life, The Human Seasons.
Opening night: 16 March 2017
