Goldilocks and the Three Bears Reviews

CHEAP, VULGAR & CRUDE
Disappointingly crude and lacking any new ideas. Same old vulgar references - not even subtle innuendo - this was full on references to anal and oral sex. Julian Cleary should be ashamed. NOT a family show and we felt sorry for those who had innocently brought their children to this shamtomime. Walked out at the interval.

NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
If you think you are going to see a pantomime you will be sorely disappointed! This is a variety show with about ten minutes about the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. It is set in a circus with Julian Clary as the ringmaster. It relies on the big names to draw in the audience: Julian Clary is smutty with references to anal and oral sex which thankfully children would probably not understand! I would have been very angry if I had taken children to see it with the expectation of seeing a Panto: no audience participation. I’ve given it one star because the acts were ok especially the four motorcyclists.

NOT FOR CHILDREN
Left during intermission. One granddaughter fell asleep waiting for the 'pantomime' to begin. Three bears funny, ventriloquist excellent , dancers amazing, but the smuttiness was embarrassing. If this is considered humour in London, I am so glad that I don't live there. As entertainment for children which is what we expected from a pantomime, it was a failure for us. Money wasted.
