Back in the West End for a limited time only!
There's tragedy at the core of French's roly-poly persona - yet the place she finds herself in appears to be a good one

Dawn French's one-woman show returns this October to take audiences on a journey through her life and career, ups and downs, her trials and tribulations, with all her heartwarming wit and humour. As French puts it herself, "Look, it's not a play, it's not stand-up, it's not a monologue, it's not a slide show, but it's something a bit like all of those with some alarming extreme striptease thrown in." Don't miss this strictly limited run!
The 30 million minutes of the title actually refers to French's age (give or take). The show is less stand-up, more of a public declaration of the various events and even tragedy that has shaped her life and career. From the breakdown of her marriage to fellow comic Lenny Henry, to the intrusive headlines following her subsequent weight loss (Anne Diamond, we're looking at you), French uses these experiences to inform her comedy and never shies away from the difficult subjects.
Written by French entirely, this slick show, makes use of projections and video to illustrate her many anecdotes. This is French as you've never seen her; brutally honest and ready to shock. For a very limited four-week run only, this lady has even bought brand-new pants for the occasion!
