Why See The Homecoming?
Coming home is never easy
Taking the London stage this autumn are Peaky Blinders star Joe Cole, and BAFTA Award-winning Chernobyl actor Jared Harris in a new production of Harold Pinter's 1964 play, The Homecoming. Settling down at the Young Vic, the show will also star Harris' Chernobyl co-star, Robert Emms, and Call the Midwife's Lisa Diveney, among others. Directing will be the Olivier Award-nominated Matthew Dunster. A thrilling psychodrama telling the story of family struggles alongside the changes in dynamics, don't miss this new production of the classic.
What's it about?
The academic Teddy returns home to East London from his teaching post in America, but he's not alone. Along with him comes his new wife Ruth. How will she integrate with his family of boxers and butchers?
