What did the critics think of Rasheeda Speaking?

Currently playing at the Trafalgar Studios 2

After a stellar run in New York back in 2015, Joel Drake Johnson's Rasheeda Speaking has headed to the UK for a run at the Trafalgar Studios. But what did the critics think?

Broadway World UK was certainly full of praise for the production which explores the issues of racism in the workplace, saying that the production was 'intense for all the right reasons' and continuing with 'It's entertaining, enthralling and definitely awakening'.

The Stage praised the star-studded cast saying that 'Moodie, at the centre of all this, plays the breadth of Jaclyn's strange behaviour with vulnerability and great comic timing' with The Guardian summarising the play as, 'as sharp as a shard of glass'.

Rasheeda Speaking is currently playing that the Trafalgar Studios 2, until May 12.
