Company Sweeps Two Awards At The Evening Standard Awards!

Currently playing at the Gielgud Theatre

Congratulations to Company who garnered two awards at this years Evening Standard Awards. The production, which opened on October 17, won the award for Best Director for Marianne Elliot and Best Musical Performance for star of the show Rosalie Craig.

In her review, Abigail called the production 'profound, refreshing, brilliant', continuing with 'it's profoundly refreshing to see Company not just as the famous score and witty one-liners, but for it to place itself slap bang in the middle of 2018's debate, whilst still excelling at all the elements one needs for a truly brilliant musical'.

What is Company about?

Bobbi, traditionally Robert up till now, is celebrating her 35th birthday in the company of her friends, all of whom are either married or engaged. Through a series of visits with the couples we learn that the well-liked Bobbi has trouble with commitment as evidenced in her numerous affairs, but still hopes to find the right person for her. As each group has its say on Bobbi's singledom and marriage prospects (and state of their own), Company begins to question the old adage that the grass is greener on the other side.

Company is now playing at the Gielgud Theatre.
