SIX Sweeps Up Five Olivier Award Nominations

Including Best New Musical!

SIX pleased audiences when it announced its return to the Arts Theatre in January, and it seems that it has also pleased the London Theatre big wigs as it has been nominated for five Olivier Awards this year!

SIX has been nominated for the following categories; Best New Musical, Best Costume Design, Best Theatre Choreographer for Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and Outstanding Achievement in Music. The musical's six 'Queens' (Jarneia Richard-Noel, Millie O'Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson and Maiya Quansah-Breed) were all nominated for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role In A Musical award.

What is SIX about?

Henry the VIII's hunt for an heir and his love of beheadings has made him one of the most famous monarchs in Britain's history with the tale of his six unfortunate wives the stock of any school history lesson. Created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Six tells the story of these famous women.

SIX is now playing at the Arts Theatre.
