What did the critics think of Goldilocks and the Three Bears?

The famous Palladium Pantomime has returned! This year the geniuses at Qdos Entertainment bring your Goldilocks and the Three Bears, starring the likes of Julian Clarey, Matt Baker and Paul O'Grady. But, what did the critics think?

The Stage praised the production saying that it was "a spectacle colour, light and magic". Before dubbing it a "Spectacular reminder of the golden age of variety and light-entertainment". The Evening Standard also praised the new panto calling it "indecently good fun", with Time Out mirroring the sentiment with "this is an eye-popping extravaganza, pulling together international acts that are genuinely jaw-dropping."

It also features Phil Hitchcock, The Skating Medini, Sascha Williams and Peter Pavlov.

What is Goldilocks and the Three Bears about?

The classic fairy-tale gets a circus revamp as we follow Dame Betty Barnum (Gary Wilmot) and her daughter Goldilocks as they try and rescue their circus from the dastardly evil rival circus owner. With their band of friends alongside them will Dame Betty Barnum and Goldilocks save the day? 

Goldilocks and the Three Bears is now playing at the London Palladium through to January 12, 2020.
