Oliviers success for Oklahoma!

The divisive revival scooped two gongs at last night's ceremony, taking home Best Musical Revival and Best Actor in A Musical for Arthur Darvill.

It might not be your Grandmother's Oklahoma! but Daniel Fish's dark revival of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic was a hit with the Olivier judges, who handed the production Best Musical Revival and celebrated Arthur Darvill with the Best Actor in a Musical prize.

The stripped-back interpretation has been a critical hit and arrived on the West End following a multi-Tony-winning run across the pond. However, audiences have been left divided, with perhaps the most mixed array of reviews we've seen here at London Theatreland.
