Your 2023 Olivier Award Winners!

Paul Mescal, Jodie Comer and My Friend Totoro triumph at this years ceremony.

The Royal Albert Hall opened its doors on April 2nd for British Theatre's most prestigious ceremony. Hosted by Ted lasso star Hannah Waddingham, who opened the show with an original score alongside cast members from various musicals.

The ceremony saw Paul Mescal, Jodie Comer and My Neighbour Totoro bagging some of this year's most triumphant Olivier Awards. Pescal took home the award for Best Actor, due to his efforts in A Streetcar Named Desire. Comer received the award for Best Actress for Prima Farcie, and said she was overwhelmed to receive the award - praising her 'sisterhood' backstage. My Neighbour Totoro swept this years awards with a total of six Oliviers in the bag. Arthur Darvil, best known for his role as Doctor Who, won Best Actor in a Musical for Oklahoma!. Beverley Knight, who plays the role of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst in Sylvia, received the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. The hotly anticipated Olivier Award for Best New Musical was award to Standing at the Sky's Edge.
