The reviews are in for Stranger Things: The First Shadow!

See what the critics had to say about the production

Finally, after months of anticipation, Stranger Things: The First Shadow had its glitzy premiere last night at its Phoenix Theatre home. A brand new tale in the Stranger Things universe, The First Shadow takes us back to the town of Hawkins, Indiana in the late 1950s, where fan favoruite characters Jim Hopper, Joyce Maldonado and Bob Newbie grapple with the first stirrings of danger in the unusual small town.

Directed by Stephen Daldry with co-direction from Justin Martin and written by Jack Thorne, the special effects come from Thorne's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child colleagues Jamie Harrison and Chris Fisher.
