Following its sell-out run at The Bridge Theatre, the Olivier Award-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods is heading into the West End this September for a strictly limited season at the Noel Coward Theatre.
This bewitching production has already charmed audiences and critics alike, with The Times calling it "stunning" and The Standard hailing it as "a triumphant musical mash-up of fairytales."
Kate Fleetwood will reprise her role as the Witch, following her acclaimed performance in The Bridge production.

Into The Woods takes the fairy tales you grew up with and wanders far beyond "happily ever after." Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, Rapunzel, the Baker and his wife all find themselves tangled together deep in the woods, chasing wishes, dodging wolves, climbing beanstalks and discovering that getting what you want is only the beginning.
There are curses to break, cows to sell, princes to chase and more than a few wrong turns along the way. But beneath the magic, Sondheim's beloved musical reminds us that life after the fairy tale ending can be messy, complicated and unexpectedly beautiful... just don't stray too far from the trail.
