Bonnie Langford is set to be the new Dorothy Brock!
News Desk, July 13th, 2018Eastenders star, Bonnie Langford, is swapping Albert Square for the West End this September as she steps into the role of Dorothy Brock in the hit musical, 42nd Street, from the 3rd of September.
Langford has been on the classic soap for the last three years where she has stolen the hearts of the nation as heartbroken mother, Carmel Kazemi. Langford will replace Steph Parry as Brock with no clear end date to her run.
What is 42nd Street About?
In 42nd Street, we follow Peggy Sawyer, an aspiring Broadway actress who arrives on the Great White Way fresh from small-town USA. When she makes the chorus of a brand-new musical, she has much more than just her own insecurities to tackle, including jealousy from the production's leading lady, a megalomaniac director, and a casanova leading man who won't take no for an answer!
