The show is playing at London’s Playhouse Theatre until March 2026

London's production of Cabaret will be welcoming two new leading stars at the end of May!

Bridgerton star Hannah Dodd will be taking on the role of Sally Bowles, replacing the beloved Marisha Wallace, and Rob Madge will be taking on the role of Emcee, currently played by Billy Porter.

This immersive new production takes audiences to Berlin's seedier side at the Playhouse Theatre, which is specially adapted for the show.

After its critically acclaimed, sold-out runs, Cabaret dominated the 2022 Olivier Awards, winning seven out of its 11 nominations. Among its accolades were Best Musical Revival and all four musical acting awards for Jessie Buckley, Eddie Redmayne, Liza Sadovy, and Elliot Levey.

The cast also includes Daniel Bowerbank as Clifford Bradshaw, Vivien Parry as Fraulein Schneider, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz, Fred Haig as Ernst Ludwig, and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, alongside Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Damon Gould, Adrian Grove, El Haq Latief, Justin-Lee Jones, Ela Lisondra, Hcaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Patrick Wilden, Ben Simon Wilson, Anne-Marie Wojna and Lucy Young.

What is Cabaret about?

A doomed romance in a city that dances on the edge of oblivion, Cabaret is one of the true classics of musical theatre, weaving together strands of debauchery and terror to capture a moment in time, that despite the warning, is ever in danger of being repeated. Featuring Kander and Ebb's unforgettable music, Cabaret is the story of an American writer and an entrancing showgirl who find themselves in Weimar era Berlin, as the shadow of fascism grows in the country. From inside the decadence of the Kit Kat club, they and their fellow artists, creatives, freaks, and weirdos attempt to eek every last bit of freedom before the Nazis take over.
