Currently playing at The Old Vic

Joe Penhall's latest work opened at The Old Vic last night. After the mammoth success of Olivier award-winning Girl From The North Country, anticipation was high for the theatre's latest production...

With The Stage saying 'Penhall puts the musical idea of tension and resolution into his characters to create a fascinating, quietly gripping examination of creativity and everything that goes with it' and The Arts Desk calling the production 'riveting' it seems like the play was well received.

The Times was full of praise for the starring lead, Hollywood star Ben Chaplin saying that 'Ben Chaplin is brilliant as Bernard', finishing with 'Quite simply, this play rocks'. Although the Evening Standard was not entirely enraptured by the production as a whole, the critic was also in awe of Chaplin's 'charismatic performance'.

Congratulations to all at The Old Vic and Mood Music!
