A multi-talented cast, great songs (some so saucy we were still tittering the next day, others moved us to tears) and the perfect venue, as the show is set in a cabaret club. Lauren Chinery was excellent as Maggie/Miss Nightingale - a beautiful voice, sensitive acting and a fantastically funny comedienne. The leading men also evolved their characters with great sensitivity and charm. And Matthew Bugg sure knows how to write a catchy tune.
