Originally created in 1976 by American comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushim, The Blue Brothers served as part of a musical sketch on the long-running TV show Saturday Night Live. Since then it has spawned a hit 1980 musical film as well as various incarnations on stage over the past 35 years, doing especially well in London's West End.

The stage musical has achieved cult theatre status by its extraordinary attention to detail. From its pared-back setting, the extravagant light show, the multi-talented live band on stage, everything combines to recreate the early Eighties party vibe that leaves you breathless and smiling from ear to ear.
