Pinter at the Pinter - Landscape/A Kind of Alaska

Why see Pinter at the Pinter - Landscape/A Kind of Alaska?

With Tamsin Greig and Lee Evans

Jamie Lloyd and co have cooked up a unique new event paying tribute to theatrical iconoclast and Nobel prize winner Harold Pinter for the tenth anniversary of his death - a whole season at his namesake theatre, dedicated to his one-act plays. The second production in the series sees stage and screen star Tamsin Grieg take on Pinter's often confusing work.

Over a five decade career, Harold Pinter rose to become one of our most influential playwrights with his biting wit and simmering menace contributing to 29 full length plays and 25 theatrical sketches. The Pinter at the Pinter season will delve into his shorter works, that despite their length, pack no less of that characteristic punch.

Landscape
As a husband and wife sit in deep recollection the man's thoughts turn to his day, his argument in the pub and his stroll around the park, his wife however is trapped in the memory of spending a day on the beach with the man whom she once loved.

A Kind Of Alaska
