Molly Wobbly

Double entendres may be filthy, but they are filthy funny if you are quick enough to catch them

Why see Molly Wobbly?
WATCH OUT, MOLLY IS COMING!
Despite a wobbly production history at the Lyric in Belfast, this fantastically filthy musical has wowed the critics and audiences alike since starting life as a concert production in 2011. Since then it has morphed into a full-scale musical and garnered rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012.
It's cheeky, its chirpy and at times, downright naughty. Written and directed by Paul Boyd, 2014 saw its London premier at the Phoenix Artists Club. Now it gets a full-production staging at the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge.
Molly Wobbly is a mysterious and kooky fairy godmother who enters the lives of three downtrodden shopkeepers Margaret, Ruth, and Jemma, in a town called Little Happening. Unfulfilled in their marriages and idly plotting to change their lives, the arrival of Molly on Mammary Lane turns their lives upside down with each getting a glam makeover to die for, and watches as things spiral out of control fast. Who is this mysterious woman? And is she really here to help, or to cause chaos?
