Freshly divorced Peggy is feeling adrift and directionless when an unexpected reconnection with Lou, her best mate from childhood, sends her back on a wave of nostalgia through their teenage years together. But everything soon turns to the bizarre when she wakes up to find that, through some supernatural force, the dreams of her teens have somehow literally become reality and she is Fourteen Again. Forced to navigate her childhood for a second time, the only way she can make it back to the present is by righting the mistakes she made back then. But how is she supposed to know which mistakes to fix?
